FAB WOMEN launched on 26th July 2007. Based in Furness, the group meets regularily to share ideas, provide support and refer business. Check out their meeting dates for 2009 or take a look at their blog on www.goulverston.co.uk

April/May - Every woman’s guide how to…… Change a tyre, spark plug, etc. Venue to be arranged.

June/July - Presentation by the Wine Guild. Including tasting and advice on new world wines and using local produce. Venue to be arranged

August/September - Pamper and Plonk: An evening with Stylists and Nutritionists, Tarot Card Readers and Crystal Balls accompanied with refreshments. Food@Review, 1a Nelson Street, Barrow-in-Furness

FAB Drinks Party
Remember, we hold a FAB Drinks Party on the last Thursday of every month. Put these dates in your diary: Thursday 26th March, Thursday 30th April & Thursday 28th May.

Other events to be arranged include: Diva Day- assertiveness and communication, personal presentation, dress to…work and play. Treasure Hunt/ Safari- a driving event, pick up clues along the way and finish off with dinner at a local hotel.

Progress is also being made regarding subsidies for FAB members. We are currently in pursuit of 10% off retail, and we are considering mutual discounts in such areas as insurance etc.
