REGULAR NETWORK MEETINGS

Lakeland Businesswomen's Network is a networking group for women in business in south Cumbria.

Set up in January 2006, the group is run by the members, for the members. 

The annual subscription is only £25 and non members are welcome to attend any of our meetings for just £3. We have 57 paid-up members and well over 60 interested parties on our regular emailing list.

We meet monthly, on the third Thursday of every month, alternating between morning and evening speaker and networking meetings, in a variety of venues across the area to make sure the widest pool of members can come along. At every meeting members get a chance to air success stories, business problems, advertise events and network. We also hold subsidised training days on business topics such as presentational skills, marketing and finance.

So, whatever your line of business, please get in touch, and we hope to see you at our next meeting. 

JULY MEETING

Thursday 15th July 2010 12am at Brockhole - A talk by Eleanor Kingston, the Archaeologist for the Lake District National Park, telling us a bit about what she does and about some of the interesting historical sites around the Lake District. We will then be taken on a tour around Brockhole, finding out about the future plans for the site, and how LDNPA benefits our community. after the meeting we will be able to stay for a picnic, don't forget your sandwiches. There is a pay and display car park which costs £2.50 for 2 hours and £4.50 for up to 4 hours.

 

LBN SHOWCASE

Wednesday 15th September 2010 6pm - 9.30pm - We are delighted to confirm that we have now firmly set in place the framework for our September event the LBN Showcase, all we need now is YOU!
